Terms and Conditions

1. Promoter

The promoter is Rusty Deer Creations Ltd, trading as Rusty Deer Creations, New Zealand (“Rusty Deer”).

2. Monthly Promotions

Each calendar month is treated as a separate promotion (“Monthly Draw”).

Unless Rusty Deer states otherwise, each Monthly Draw opens at 12:00 a.m. New Zealand time on the first day of the month and closes at 11:59 p.m. New Zealand time on the final day of that month.

Rusty Deer may discontinue future Monthly Draws by publishing reasonable notice. This will not affect a Monthly Draw that has already opened.

3. Eligibility

Entry is open to residents of New Zealand and Australia who are aged 18 years or over.

Employees and contractors of Rusty Deer, and their immediate family members, are not eligible to enter.

Rusty Deer may ask a selected winner to provide reasonable proof of their age, identity and country of residence before awarding the prize.

4. How to Enter

To enter a Monthly Draw, a person must be an active subscriber to the Rusty Deer marketing email list at the closing time for that Monthly Draw.

Existing subscribers are automatically included in each Monthly Draw while they remain active subscribers. New subscribers will be included from the first Monthly Draw for which they are subscribed before the closing time.

An active subscriber is someone who has provided a valid email address, consented to receive Rusty Deer marketing emails and has not unsubscribed or been removed or suppressed from the email list.

There is a limit of one entry per person in each Monthly Draw. Subscribing with multiple email addresses does not create additional valid entries.

No purchase is necessary to enter, and making a purchase does not increase the chance of winning.

5. Prize

One eligible winner will receive one NZD $250 Rusty Deer digital voucher in each Monthly Draw.

The voucher:

• can be used toward products purchased directly from Rusty Deer Creations, including approved custom orders;
  
• is valid for three years from its issue date;
  
• may be used across more than one purchase until its balance is exhausted;
  
• is not transferable or redeemable for cash; and
  
• cannot be replaced if it is lost, deleted or used without the winner’s permission, except where required by law.

Any amount above the voucher value, together with applicable freight, delivery or installation costs, is the winner’s responsibility.

For Australian winners, the value of the voucher is NZD $250. The equivalent value in Australian dollars may vary depending on the exchange rate applied when the voucher is redeemed.

6. Drawing the Winner

The winner will be selected randomly from all eligible entries on the first business day following the end of the relevant month.

The draw will be conducted electronically by Rusty Deer.

The odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible subscribers included in that Monthly Draw.

Rusty Deer’s determination of eligibility and the result of the random draw will be final, subject to applicable law.

7. Contacting and Announcing the Winner

The selected winner will be contacted using the email address associated with their subscription, generally within two business days of the draw.

The winner must respond, claim the prize and provide any information reasonably required to verify their eligibility within 14 calendar days of the initial notification.

Rusty Deer will make reasonable attempts to contact the winner. If the winner does not claim the prize within 14 calendar days, cannot be verified, refuses the prize or is otherwise ineligible, Rusty Deer reserves the right to reallocate the prize by conducting another random draw, subject to applicable law.

By entering, entrants consent to Rusty Deer publicly announcing and using the winner’s first initial and surname, such as “T. Groves,” together with their general region, for promotional purposes relating to the giveaway.

The winner’s full first name, photograph or other identifying information will only be published with their additional permission.

8. Email Subscription

By entering, you consent to receiving marketing emails from Rusty Deer Creations, including new products and designs, gift ideas, business updates and special offers.

You may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link included in Rusty Deer emails. Unsubscribing will not affect any prize already awarded, but you will not be eligible for future Monthly Draws unless you subscribe again and provide fresh consent.

9. Privacy

Rusty Deer will collect and use entrants’ personal information to administer the giveaway, verify eligibility, contact winners and send marketing communications in accordance with the entrant’s consent.

Information may be processed by service providers used by Rusty Deer to operate its website, email marketing and ecommerce systems.
