About the Product
Meet Grumpy Gus, the morepork with a scowl sharper than a kiwi's beak! Crafted from corten steel, Gus is the night owl who's not afraid to show his disdain for nocturnal shenanigans. With his perpetually furrowed brow and a glare that could stop a possum in its tracks, he's the cantankerous curmudgeon of the forest – grumbling and groaning his way through the night.
Imagine Gus perched high in your garden, his grumpy demeanor casting a shadow over the moonlit landscape as he begrudgingly watches the world go by. He's like the grouchy neighbor you can't help but chuckle at, secretly enjoying his grumpiness from afar.
Hang up Grumpy Gus today and let his sourpuss charm add a touch of humor to your backyard – because even in the darkness of the night, there's always room for a good laugh, especially when it comes from a morepork named Gus!

Let customers speak for us
Easy design process and keenly priced shipping cost. Superb NZ made sign, exactly what we wanted. We definitely recommend Rusty Dear.
I love it but don't want to show it on here as it is a memorial plaque
This was a perfect gift and has a prominent place in our home. Great workmanship and quality material.
Was the perfect 10 year anniversary gift to my partner 🩷 The size was just perfect for the spot it has hanging on our wall. Thank you 😊
We love our new business sign here at Affinity Trading Ltd, we received great service, quick replies, easy all round. We would highly recommend Rusty Deer Creations for any signs.
Our house number at the drive way entrance is our most recent addition to the collection of corten steel we have. It is enhanced by a solar light, which provides 24/7 distinction to our property.
Installed as the front to our letterbox, we absolutely love it! Highly recommend!
Love the sign-it was a birthday present for my husband and he is very happy with his gift😊
Ordered a one off project to mark the grave of a very much loved dog. It arrived within 2 weeks and was exactly what was asked for. Great job, great service and product arrived well protected and in excellent condition.
It’s got a great spot, and it has so many special reminders
Love the signs. Were exactly as drawn. They will be going on my fence and garage. Great service. Thanks
Rusty Deer created bespoke lettering for my rural property entranceway. It took a fair amount of back and forth from me to get the font and sizing right and the team was very accommodating. The result is outstanding and I get great feedback. The letters are steel, powder coated. Thanks Tim and team. Stephen
